We shall convey the necessary instructions and direct you with the necessary emergency measures. If you know the address of Redkar Hospital, make sure you come to our Medical Centre as soon as possible.
2) In certain cases where the patient needs to be transferred by our hospital, please let us know prior by phone and at the earliest.
When you arrive at the Redkar Hospital and Research Centre, the staff will greet you and hand over a patient number. In the meanwhile till you are called upon by the doctor given the OPD rush hours you can be seated in the waiting area. We shall examine you as early as possible.
Patients that are brought in to the hospital with acute complaints that is causing them (Chest pain, breathlessness, palpitation, perspiration, uneasiness, nauseous or giddy feeling, severe pain, high grade fever) or inability to move limbs and speak, please inform the hospital staff at the earliest so that emergency services can be provided to the patient.
We may request examinations and tests to assist and support our diagnosis as a further process of the necessary treatment.
YES. Digital X-ray, Ultra Sonography, 2-D ECHO, Endoscopy and CT-scan can be performed at our location.
NO. We do not have the facility to examine or admit any Paediatric patients at our hospital.
NO. We do not have any facility to examine or conduct deliveries of pregnant women at our hospital.
We do not have a Blood Bank, MRI Scan, Cardiac Cath Lab (Angiography or Angioplasty) or Cardiac OT.
We do not have a Burn Unit, Paediatric Department and Obstetrics Department.
YES . The hospital has an existing facility for patients and relatives to have their meals in the food area.
You can purchase food at the counter and can customise and alter food according to patient’s requirement at the cafeteria.

NO, Our Hospital is not only a stroke speciality centre, it is a Multi-Speciality Hospital.
We have a dedicated Stroke Rehabilitation Unit, but apart from this we have facilities
available for Multiple Specialities and Super Specialities mentioned as well.

NO. Strokes are mainly of two types:-
A) Ischemic (clot blocking blood vessels in the brain) and
B) Hemorrhagic (bleeding inside the brain).
If any patient of Ischemic stroke reaches hospital, within the time frame of 4.5 hrs of onset of the symptoms, they can be given a thrombolytic injection, only if the patient meets the specific criteria’s. This is essentially a similar injection on many levels used for a heart attack. After the time frame of 4.5 hours has passed, the injection cannot be administered anytime.
We accept DDSSY cards to avail facilities that are under the medical branch of Nephrology (Dialysis) and General Surgery.
